About the Author
Jim Sheeler is a reporter at the Rocky Mountain News in Denver. He won the 2006 Pulitzer Prize for feature writing for the story "Final Salute." An expanded version of that story is scheduled for publication by The Penguin Press in 2008. He previously contributed to the book "Life on the Death Beat," (Marion Press). He lives in Boulder, Colo. with his wife, Annick, and son, James.
